Chris Emery is the author of five poetry collections, including Modern Fog and, most recently, Wonder. He is the Director of Salt and a leading figure in independent publishing. His poetry is celebrated for its musicality and forensic eye, often dwelling on the sacred landscapes and history of North Norfolk. Widely anthologised, his work explores the beauty of the mundane and the dreamscape. He lives and works in Cromer.
Jen Hamilton-Emery is Salt's Managing Director, but like everyone else in the business, she has a finger in almost every pie. She has been with Salt since its start 14 years ago and she struggles to think of a better line of work: nothing quite beats the thrill of discovering a must-publish manuscript or being one of the first to see our new books fresh from the printer's. |
