Corinda Watson is married and has one child and three grandchildren. She lives in Shreveport, Louisiana. She enjoys reading books to her grandchildren, spending time with her family and friends and traveling. She is a retired early childhood educator. Her first book is The Day You Came Home. The book expresses the joy and happiness felt by the family on the day her adopted granddaughter comes to her new home. The beautiful illustrations by Emily Franklin enhance this heartfelt book.
The title of her second book is Whitlee's Magical Unicorn Adventure. It is about a magical adventure to The Land Of Imagination with a unicorn named Sprinkles. Whitlee and Sprinkles love cupcakes with candy sprinkles on top, of course. Erica Branch did the magical illustrations for this book.
Corinda has also written several educational workbooks and activity books. The titles of these books are: Dragon Handwriting Workbook, Mermaid Handwriting Workbook, Sprinkles and Friends Unicorn Activity Book and Girls Just Want To Have Fun Word Search Activity Book and Sprinkles and Friends Christmas Activity Book. She will be adding other activity books to her collection in the future.
Corinda's grandchildren have been an inspiration for her books. Her first grandchild was adopted. Corinda searched for a book that would express her love for her first grandchild. Since she could not find one that said exactly what she wanted to express, she wrote The Day You Came Home. The second granddaughter was very jealous of her older sister's book, so Corinda got busy and wrote, Whitlee's Magical Unicorn Adventure. Now she has a grandson. He has been asking when he will have a book. Corinda is currently working on this book. It will be about a dragon adventure featuring her grandson as the main character.
