Clara Coria lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Clinical psychologist, Faculty of Psychology, University of Buenos Aires (1966). Researcher of the problems of money, power, success, negotiation and love, from a gender perspective, she has been analyzing critical issues in women's lives for several decades.
Specialist in group coordination. Member of the Argentine Association of Psychology and Group Therapy. Co-founder of the Center for Women's Studies (CEM) in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Her work and trajectory have earned her the 2016 Konex Award, which traditionally rewards the 100 most outstanding personalities of the last decade in 20 categories of Argentine humanities. The Grand Jury decided to create that year, exceptionally, a discipline number 21 called "Gender Studies" to recognize those personalities who have stood out in the last decade in this specialty.
In 2005 she was selected as one of the "Outstanding Women of the Decade" in the event held in the Blue Room of the Honorable Senate of the Argentine Nation; and in 2006 she received the "Recognition Award" from the Women Agenda Foundation of Argentina, for her contributions to the dissemination of women's human rights.
At present, she continues to be a guest lecturer at various international courses and events related to women's issues in Latin America and Europe.
