ALEX MCFARLAND has been described as "an expert on religion and culture" by FOX News and CNN. He has led conferences on apologetics and in defense of the biblical worldview throughout all of the United States and internationally. He and his wife, Angie, make their home in North Carolina. BERT HARPER served as a local church pastor for thirty-eight years and as board chair for the American Family Association. Bert and his wife, Jan, also lead the "Fish Bowl Retreat" ministry to strengthen the marriages and families of pastors. Bert has been a full-time cohost of Exploring the Word since 2012. The purpose of Exploring The Word is to faithfully teach the Word of God so that lost people are brought to a personal relationship with Christ and believers are strengthened in their growth and service. Alex and Bert prayerfully work to inform, inspire, motivate, and equip listeners in their knowledge of Scripture and the Biblical worldview.
