When Mr. O’Connor, an anti-dog financier, moves in across the street from Sophie and Juno, the writers of the Barking Puppy newspaper, they are not slow to butt heads. To make matters worse, when their plans to host a dog circus for their annual block party go awry and their school faces closure, the girls suspect Mr. O’Connor may have something to do with it.
