Dube and his friends, the Boys of the title, are carefree as they close in on their thirtieth birthdays. Thirty years is the expected time for the inhabitants of Earth during The Millennium to choose a life path or Purpose. The Boys don't want to choose. They like hanging out with each other and not having responsibility. Little do they understand that soon events, or an Event, will conspire to make them take sides.
