JW Mortimer, a new young adult author of "Running In The Dark", he has already sparked a sequel, "Further Distance Needed". The characters he writes face real-life challenges and while his stories come from his imagination, he feels people will be able to closely relate to their situations.
Mr. Mortimer lives in a small New England town, which is where he draws a lot of inspiration for his stories. Before becoming an author, Mr. Mortimer was a registered nurse for over 20 years. His experiences in the emergency room have given him the ability to put himself in someone else's shoes during some of the most desperate moments in their lives. He can see beyond the immediate problem to the best possible solution.
