Robert J. Lieber, is Emeritus Professor of Government and International Relations at Georgetown University, where he previously served as Chair of the Government Department. He is author or editor of eighteen books on international relations and US foreign policy, and his essays and opeds have appeared in journals and newspapers in the US, Europe, and Asia. He has also served as an advisor to several presidential campaigns. to the State Department, and to the drafters of US National Intelligence Estimates. His latest book is, Indispensible Nation: American Foreign Policy in a Turbulent World.
