Dawn-Marie Gibson is a Senior Lecturer in Modern American History at Royal Holloway, University of London, UK. She is the author of Women of the Nation: Between Black Protest and Sunni Islam (2014), The Nation of Islam (2016) and New Perspectives on the Nation of Islam (2017).

Rachel Pistol is a Researcher at King's College London, UK, and is part of the management team for the European Holocaust Research Infrastructure. She is the author of Internment During the Second World War: A Comparative Study of Great Britain and the USA (2017) as well as articles published in Presidential Studies Quarterly, Comparative American Studies and Patterns of Prejudice.
