Roberta Brandes Gratz is an award-winning journalist, urban critic, lecturer, and author of several books, including We're Still Here Ya Bastards: How the People of New Orleans Rebuilt Their City. Gratz is a former reporter for the New York Post and has written for The Nation, the New York Times Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Daily News. She lives in New York City and New Orleans.
