Steve grew up in Sydney, Australia and has worked in the stockbroking, airline, hospitality and transport industries. Being a second cousin to the swashbuckling film star, Errol Flynn, he inherited some, but not all his wicked ways. In his adventurous youth he travelled and lived in Africa for a year. Then worked in London and travelled Europe with his fiancée in a campervan. He meddled in politics having served as a Councillor for thirteen years and as Mayor of Hornsby Shire for five years, experiencing the highs and lows of politics, the wins, and the losses.
