For Rahab, the wedding would prove to be the easy part. The transition from a harlot in Jericho to a wife in one of the most prominent families in Israel could not have been greater. In Jericho, a baby was a four-letter word and was avoided at all costs, especially for someone in Rahab's line of work. In Israel, having babies-plural-was every woman's dream. Every marriage has hurdles to overcome. In Rahab's marriage, the mental hurdles were huge.

But just as everywhere, someone else always has a tougher life. The Bedouin clan, from the first book, A Harlot Bride, fills that role. For them, survival is never guaranteed as they struggle to integrate the remnants of several clans into their new clan.

For Rahab, the roller coaster does not stop. Again, come along for the ride. And as always, if you pick up a tidbit along the way that benefits you, the author would be extremely pleased.
