The malevolent Tome of Spells, known as the Sormara, crumbles to ash. From its ruin, the spirits of Tomar and Nadora shimmer into existence-flickering remnants of a power once feared. A black raven, having inhaled the very essence of the Sormara, escapes the noxious depths of the Fortress of Doom, carrying its dark legacy northward. As the raven and Tomar face countless perils on their journey, they uncover a hidden cave-home to a sinister sorceress. There, Tomar regains his physical form and begins summoning a monstrous army of shadows, a legion bred for destruction. Far above, Lundar, the white eagle, is ensnared by dark magic. Sensing his demise is near, he sends a desperate message to Suhzar, who transforms into a fearsome dragon and sets out to save him. Meanwhile, the Sorceress of Light senses the rise of this dreadful horde. She knows that if they are not stopped, all of Seledor will fall to darkness once more. Now, five legendary factions rally to the Valley of Tonepass, uniting to forge a final stand. As warriors steel themselves for the battle ahead, their courage will be tested-and their fate uncertain.
