Welcome to Hero and the Inner Compass. My name is Justin R. Brown.

¿As a creator and a father, I look at the world our children are growing up in, and I see how fast and noisy it can get. Between the screens, the crowds, the pressure to fit in, and the constant noise of everyday life, it is so easy for young minds to lose sight of who they truly are. We spend so much time teaching kids to look outward to follow the group, to listen to the crowd, and to look to others for direction.

¿I wrote this book because I wanted to teach a different lesson. I wanted to create a story that shows young readers the power of turning inward.

¿When life gets chaotic, scary, or uncertain, the answer isn't always found by running around or panicking. God has placed a quiet inner compass inside each and every one of us. It speaks in that very first instinct a sudden, peaceful thought that settles into your chest when you get quiet enough to listen.
