Our Creator oversees every aspect of the creation; and we, as creations of the Father, are subject to the processes He declared in the beginning. The caterpillar lives its life hardly noticed until, at some predetermined point on the biological clock, it is time to build the cocoon and begin the transformation.
Our lives parallel this type of change. Similar to the change when the butterfly emerges into this new existence, we, too, see our world from a new point of view. The newly formed butterfly is now able to fly and no longer crawls along the surface, living a life of mediocrity. Now with wings to fly, the landscape is available to be fully experienced.
With God's favor and our right standing, we also have limitless possibilities for our lives. Similar to the butterfly, we now have the strength and God-given ability to spiritually conquer gravity and float effortlessly across the landscape as we saunter in the beautiful garden of life. The butterfly is symbolic of what we can accomplish with God's favor and will for our lives.
