Dr. Amanda-Lee Pitzer is an educator, researcher, and advocate in trauma and educational psychology. She is a program director at Regent University and teaches Trauma-Informed Education at Columbia College of South Carolina. Her books include The Relieved Widow (2024), When Children Are Hurting (2026), and Classroom Strategies for Trauma-Informed Teaching (Palgrave Macmillan, 2026). A Gold Star Spouse and advocate for trauma-informed education, she writes with both scholarly authority and lived experience.
