Shimmering coastal mudflats.
A glowing strip of land that appears only at low tide.
A car battery wired to a kitchen microwave passed off as deep-sea tracking gear.
Just another Tuesday.
Percy, a stressed-out pelican bait-shop owner, has a problem. A narrow land bridge connecting the shore has started glowing a lurid, neon purple every evening, and he is convinced an extra-legal entity is stealing the coastline.
Enter Womba and Cappy.
Womba?a wombat detective who takes himself far too seriously?immediately suspects a rogue inter-dimensional syndicate harvesting the shore's mineral density. Cappy?a capybara who would much rather finish her ninth cup of Earl Grey tea?simply notes that whatever is causing the glow seems to be coming directly out of the storm drain.
Armed with a questionable "Prism-Grid" contraption acquired from a cynical local mechanic, the duo takes the case. Between Womba's grand conspiracies and Cappy's deadpan observations, they set out to uncover the truth behind the glowing beach.
If you like dry humor, deadpan detectives, and absurd mysteries where the explanation is far weirder than an alien invasion, this book exists in the geometry.
