Wesley Arning joined St. Martin's in Houston, Texas after serving as Rector of St. James the Less in Madison, Tennessee. He leads the Riverway service, the young adult ministry, Dad's Bible Study, and Membership, and co-hosts The Wayside Podcast. Arning holds degrees in psychology and Biblical studies from Gordon College, including a semester in Jerusalem focused on Rabbinic thought and Biblical archaeology. He is the author of Waters of Baptism. Arning earned his M.Div. from Virginia Theological Seminary and has served as ecumenical officer and President of the Standing Committee in the Diocese of Tennessee. He is currently a trustee of the Episcopal Foundation of Texas. He lives in Houston, Texas.
